I have been teaching alongside Dr. David Landwehr for several years. He knows his field inside and out and speaks to student doctors from a very practical standpoint. More than that though, Dr Landwehr is down to earth and approachable. This is what makes him such a great teacher. The student doctors do not fear being talked down to or being thought dumb for asking questions. This inspires them to be more open and vulnerable which in turn leads to them learning more. Prior to working alongside Dr Landwehr, I had attended a lot of endodontic courses from many different speakers. I have never seen another specialist that could connect with general dentists the way he can. Working with him and seeing him speak multiple times a year has inspired me to be a better mentor and teacher.
